Internet Retailer: As search engines broaden distribution, Quigo goes vertical
Quigo's new AdSonar Exchange works like a vertical version of Google's AdSense, divvying up publishers into vertical markets and only then selling contextual keyword placements. The additional targeting garners costs per click up to five times what broad search engines would receive, according to Quigo CEO Michael Yavonditte. So far 150 publishers have signed up into one or more of the various verticals.
