MediaPost: Web Gambling Advertisers Sidestep Google Censors
Gambling ads still appear on Google, despite the search firms very public banning of them just several weeks ago. Gambling sites continue to re-submit ads, finagling them to get around automatic filters that appear to be rather simplistic.
This is just another example for Google of potential legal issues that may infringe on its ability to conduct a vast business comprised of many small, automated transactions. Copyright and trademark issues have also proved problematic in allowing Google to let in only ads that prove not to be troublesome.
