Branding wags may argue whether or not it's the good sort of traffic or not, but the April 1 launch of Burger King's "Subservient Chicken" site definitely drove traffic. A Hitwise chart prepared specially for MarketingVOX shows that, in addition to the tens of millions of visits the subservient chicken site generated, the Burger King site traffic started making a move on the traffic received by arch competitor McDonald's.
