ClickZ: AQuantive to Buy SBI.Razorfish for $160M
Acquisition hungry aQuantive announced it will eat up SBI.Razorfish, a conglomeration of many bubble-era online ad agencies, including most prominently, USWeb, CKS and Razorfish. The purchase indicates a fairly serious continued commitment to the agency side of its business, which some competing agencies have pointed to as a conflict of interest with its technology arm Atlas DMT and its targeting and media sales unit DrivePM. The acquisition will add 25 of the Fortune 100 to aQuantive's client roster.
