Jumping on the pop-up blocking bandwagon with their own internally developed browser is Apple Computer. Today, Apple released Safari Public Beta, which among other things blocks pop-ups. This is Apple's first internally developed web-browser to hit the public market since Cyberdog flopped back when Netscape 4 was a the newest browser on the block. Apple abandoned Cyberdog in the late 1990s for good. Apple is using the Konqueror open source project as their starting point for this software application, not Mozilla.
