AOL's 'Outside the Box' Delivers TV Celebs to 'Net Fanbase

AOL Television is launching a new web series supported by digital ad business Platform-A, which will provide display advertising and content-targeted links on the site, writes MediaPost (via MediaBuyerPlanner).

Outside the Box features cast members from popular television programs interviewing each other, using questions from fans.

The debut episode will include cast members from Private Practice; upcoming episodes include the casts of Desperate Housewives, Dirty Sexy Money, Life on Mars and Scrubs.

Procter & Gamble and DiGiorno are launch sponsors. A prominent window at the left of the video screen also invites viewers to watch streaming TV from CBS, ABC, NBC and Fox:

AOL Television drew about 14 million unique visitors in August, per comScore Media Metrix.
