America Online has released some details on the integrated ad campaign that was launched in August to promote its AOL.com portal, reports ClickZ. Carat Fusion handled search engine marketing and optimization. OMD did media planning. Atmosphere BBDO handled online creative, including rich media executions designed to highlight specific sites and services on AOL - touching on four themes: entertainment, finding news and information, convenience and getting things done, and connecting with others. Those ads will run on some 100 sites until year's end. The Martin Agency handled the offline campaign.
