AOL to Make More Cuts

CNET reports that AOL will fire another 700 employees in yet another round of layoffs in hopes of stanching further losses. The broadband and technology divisions will reportedly feel the cutbacks the hardest. The report canvasses analysts who generally seem to think that AOL has a long way to go before it turns itself around, with hundreds of thousands of subscribers leaving each quarter and a renewed emphasis on advertising revenues taking some time to reach fruition.
