AOL announced Wednesday that it will provide RSS feeds from partners for its video search engine, reports BtoB Online. New partners include Blastro.com, EVTV1.com, Forbes.com, GameTrailers.com, PC World and Time4 Media, all of which will be added to its video search index. The feeds will be available at its video site AOL Search and the AOL service itself. AOL's Singingfish video and audio search engine will also feature the content.
"Having good content partnerships, which is basically in our DNA, is crucial to success," Fred McIntyre, vice-president of video operations at AOL, is quoted by MediaPost as having said recently, when it announced video content partners HBO and New York Times digital.
Other AOL Video partners include MSNBC, NPR, Reuters, AtomFilms, CBSNews.com, and CNN.
