AOL Launches In2TV Campaign

AOL has launched a campaign promoting its new broadband channel In2TV, which will be offering "classic" shows such as "Welcome Back Kotter" and "Kung Fu," reports ClickZ. The site could generate much-needed in-stream ad inventory if it becomes popular. The campaign includes internet, outdoor and radio placements; the online portion breaks May 4 and will include an instant-win game, which asks a trivia question about one of streamed shows.

Those who answer correctly are entered to win TV and technology-related prizes. Ads will appear across the AOL network, including on AOL.com, Mapquest, Netscape and Moviefone. Hill Holliday handled creative - an animated potato watching In2TV on a laptop, with the tagline "Online. Anytime. Always Free."
