Downloadable movies are coming to TVs, thanks to a partnership between AOL and Intel.
A new deal between AOL and Intel will allow owners of Viiv PCs to download movies, which they can then watch plasma or LCD TVs, according to CNET. Consumers will also be able to download music. The move marks a shift in how studios view the downloading of movies, and gives a nice boost to Viiv PCs.
Earlier this month, Intel announced a deal with Yahoo that will allow users of their Fantasy Football League to track their players on a TV screen while watching a live game. The move effectively combines content from both the PC and the TV onto one screen.
