IAR: AOL Launches New Channel with Homestore Content
Just as we hear news of AOL losing one million subscribers, the giant decides to go up against realtor.com com and others to build more revenue with a new content channel.
The channel, called Homestore, will offer home improvement and real esate content in a bid to meet people's increasing use of online for this kind of content. The launch is part of AOL's new strategy to derive more revenue from sources other than advertising which has been on the decline.
