AOL has unified the Quigo and Advertising.com ad platforms, reports ClickZ.
Quigo's FeedPoint assists retailers looking to manage distribution of products to third-party comparison sites. Advertising.com's Outsearch is used by search marketers to manage keyword bids and optimization.
The technology driving each system will remain separate, but the sales structure for both now fall under Platform A. Platform A already houses most of AOL's ad offerings, including Third Screen Media's mobile sales, AdTech's management software and Tacoda's behavioral targeting.
AOL's end goal is the creation of a single, unified advertising and marketing solution, but it still has a ways to go. Lightningcast's video offering is so far the only component completely integrated in Platform A.
