Third Screen Media, a mobile ad agency, has been in talks with AOL as a potential addition to its roster of companies reports PaidContent.
Third Screen would join Advertising.com in the AOL stable if talks continue and lead to an actual sale. If that sale happens it could be worth $60-80 million. The firm has been in acquisition talks before, having previously discussed such a possibility with Microsoft.
An actual sale would largely benefit the venture capitalist firms that have invested $8 million in the agency so far and significantly raise AOL's status in the mobile ad market.
