AOL Apes Upfront with 'First Look'

AOL will hold its own version of an upfront presentation Tuesday, reports MediaPost. The "First Look" session will give AOL an opportunity to present its online programming plans to advertisers and media buyers and planners.

The online portal will map out its plans for original content and is expected to also highlight mobile, VOD and other new media opportunities.

The goal of the "First Look" is to present AOL and Advertising.com as ad partners with a broad audience reach.

Online portals like AOL, Yahoo and Microsoft are trying to carve their way into TV ad dollars at the same that TV networks are looking to capture more online dollars.
