AOL and Mark Burnett's Gold Rush II Pushed to '08

The sequel to AOL and Mark Burnett's "Gold Rush" has been pushed to next year, according to paidContent.org.

Launched last year, the web-based treasure hunt invited users to search for $2 million across just about every medium, from magazines and TV, to mobile phones and popular websites. It was deemed a "cross-platform first" by AdWeek.
Given the success of last year's promotion, AOL is having a tough time topping it.
