Mortgage firm Ameriquest let go its online agency, Tribal DDB, after hiring Brian Woods as chief marketing officer from United Online. Woods told AdAge, "I know this space very well," and that the firing of Tribal had nothing to do with poor performance. He also said that Tribal would continue to do work for Ameriquest on a project basis. Ameriquest intends to handle most online duties in-house.
