Silicon.com: Bankrupt company goes for broke

Amazon.com is getting a taste of its own patent medicine, as a company that bought patents from a series of bankrupt companies is now suing it for infringement of broad shopping cart processes. Amazon has enforced its "one-click" patent against competitors like Barnes & Noble, wielding a similar process patent that many in the industry consider to be too obvious and precedented to have been properly granted.
