CNET: Google, Amazon in a war of search words

With Amazon developing its secretive A9 shopping search platform, a recruiting battle is shaping up in the search algorithm market. Both Amazon and Google have been trying to out-do one another in using - appropriately enough - search engine marketing to help recruit computer scientists and programmers to help develop their respective search efforts.
