Ask and you shall leave beta

Amazon has brought its site Askville.com out of beta.

The information-sharing site allows Amazon users to ask questions and answer queries from others, according to Reuters.

Yahoo runs a similar site called Yahoo Answers. Google also had an answers section that was discontinued.

Amazon also announced plans to open a virtual world called questville in late '08.
