Former R/GA executive creative director Mat Zucker has joined Agency.com to replace the recently departed Tom Ajello as New York ECD, reports ClickZ.
Agency.com CEO David Eastman characterized Ajello's resignation and other corporate-level moves as all part of a grand unified plan to streamline functions and identify core strengths. The addition of several high-profile executives with established reputations is apparently one part of that plan.

At Interpublic's R/GA Zucker focused on the Johnson & Johnson account. Before that he spent five years at OgilvyOne worldwide. He'll begin at Agency.com on April 16.
