AdWords Editor Infused with More Flexible Keyword Features

Google has updated AdWords Editor, a desktop application for managing AdWords campaigns.

Users may now:

  • Import files via CSV (Excel) format
  • Handpick which campaign(s) to download and edit, as opposed to having to download all of them at once.
  • View and organize new keywords by topic. "Keyword Opportunities" columns are now included when you export or copy keywords; terms can also be added to accounts as either keywords, negative keywords or negative keywords at the campaign level.
  • Access new conversion metrics in the Editor.
  • Select duplicates by order of appearance.
  • Change languages to any of the following new ones: Thai, Arabic, Romanian, Hungarian, Indonesian, Greek, Vietnamese, Bulgarian, Croatian, Lithuanian, Estonian, Slovak, Filipino, Slovenian, Serbian, Catalan, Latvian, Ukranian, and Hindi.
  • Access a progress bar that keeps track of Editor updates.

Clients already using AdWords Editor will be prompted to upgrade to Version 7.5.1 automatically. Select "Update without Backup" in the auto-update prompt in order to convert existing accounts to the new version.

Those that do not already use AdWords Editor may download or read more about it.
