Adult-Movie Producers Seek Piracy Solutions

The porn industry is known to have driven advances in technology - from the growth of broadband to online credit-card processing - and it's now taking part in the war against pirated video, according to CNET.
Like other media companies, producers of adult films are struggling with online piracy. That's led to some "innovation" that seems more like a throwback to the early days of TV, when everything was live.

Adult-film production house Kink's switch to live internet shows - in high definition - is a means of protecting the company's income, which last year was reportedly $20 million.

The company has bought the old National Guard Armory in San Francisco and is producing much of that live content there.
