Travel search engine Kayak said it has partnered with About.com to power the search in About's travel and cities category, reports AdWeek. Terms of the multiyear deal were not disclosed. Established last year, Kayak does not sell tickets but directs users to the travel sites. Last month it introduced a paid search ad program for travel advertisers. Kayak is building a partner network to extend its reach. It signed a deal with AOL in November to power its Pinpoint Travel search engine and has a distribution deal with USAToday.com, which uses Kayak's search engine in its travel section.
