About.com Adds Video Ads to Inventory

About.com, seeing shortage of video ad inventory online, said it will expand its video programming, especially in the inventory-hungry categories of hardware and electronics. About.com reporter Brett Larson will host a short-form series of product reviews. Advertisers will be able to purchase :30 pre-roll spots.

About.com said it would be looking also at similar forms of content in the health and the home content areas, perhaps by spring.
