From Next Net comes news that ABC.com is currently experimenting with streaming broadcast and cable offerings in HD online.

Depending on whether your computer screen can handle HD video, the site offers an alternative to having to buy an HDTV.

Users must download a new player from Move Networks. The free player makes ad-viewing mandatory.
