ABC has given the green light to a TV show built around user-generated content, reports Variety.
The hour-long show, called i-Caught, has been given a six-week commitment by the network, starting August 6th. Far from being entertainment, i-Caught will integrate user-submitted video into a news magazine format and supplement it with ABC News reporting.
The ABC journalists for the program will also look beyond the dedicated submission site to report on videos being played elsewhere on the web.
Beginning June 12, people can also submit videos at i-caught.com for consideration.
