Somagirls.tv Brings Femme Flair to Online Lifestyle Niche

Soma Management, a women's lifestyle company, has just launched somagirls.tv, an interactive "How-to" destination for women between ages 12 and 24, according to a press release.

Somagirls.tv will provide young women an aesthetic and practical destination covering topics like health, travel, beauty, fashion and entertainment. Content will appear across a number of online media, including branded video channels, mobile platforms and virtual worlds.

President and CEO E.C. Morgan of Soma Management stated, "Our mission is to deliver a full and meaningful experience that enriches young women’s lives. She also noted that as consumers move from broad destinations like MySpace to niche sites, "somagirls.tv gives advertisers and content providers the means to reach a specific demographic and directly appeal to their specific interest or lifestyle."

International distribution partners on board include Mediazone, BitTorrent, Hutch Telecom, Oasys Mobile, BT Vision, Doubleclick, YuMe Corp, and Whyville, a virtual world for young teens. Reach at outset is expected to span 250 million viewers and 2 billion mobile phone users.

Digital media and entertainment company Soma Management produce, aggregates and syndicates content for online, mobile and IPTV destinations. They specialize in building lifestyle brands around stories, empowering imagery and personally uplifting content.
